Michelle Dee thankful to GMA for supporting her dreams

Kapuso beauty queen and Mga Lihim ni Urduja actress Michelle Dee expressed how grateful she is to GMA for supporting her pursuit to achieving her dreams. One of which is to star in her current drama-action series and the other is to join Miss Universe anew.

In an interview with GMA Regional TV morning show BizTalk, Michelle said that she's very passionate about both pageants and her current show which she considers “great opportunities” for her.

Asked how she can keep up with both, she answered, “Well, teamwork makes the dream work. Sobrang grateful po ako sa GMA na sobrang supportive sila sa dreams ko.

She added, “Hindi naman ako binibigyan ng problema, sobrang supportive lang po ng GMA talaga.”

Michelle first teased her plans to join the pageant in February, when she shared her viral post “#deepatapos.” Then, in an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, she mentioned she wanted to join the pageant, but unsure if she could.

“If I want to, yes. Can I? We'll see,” she said.

Later that month though, the actress confirmed that she's indeed competing again in the upcoming Miss Universe 2023.

Aside from her pageantry dreams, Michelle is also part of the action drama series Mga Lihim ni Urduja and has expressed how proud and grateful she is for her role, saying that she and her fellow hunters, Vin Abrenica, Arra San Agustin, Pancho Magno, and Kristofer Martin are enjoying their roles.

She added, “Napakalaking opportunity and magandang story po talaga ang aming mega seryeng Mga Lihim ni Urduja.”

As for the action scenes she and her co-stars have been doing, she mentioned, “Ako, personally, ayoko nagpapa-stunt double kaya sa Miss U journey ko medyo pinapasa na'ko.”

Despite the bruises, she assured them that their fighting directors are taking care of her and her co-actors and are assessing their strengths and weaknesses to choreograph the scenes for each and every one of them.

She recalled their fighting directors asking them, “'Ano ba'ng kaya mo? Ano ba'ng mas prefer mo?" para mas maganda tingnan sa mga action scenes din namin.”
