What to expect from 'My Destiny'

By MICHELLE CALIGAN

Playing important roles in the show are some of the industry's finest: Kuh Ledesma, Al Tantay, Ayen Munji-Laurel and Dennis Roldan. Teen stars Ruru Madrid, Ashley Ortega and newcomer Gabrielle Garcia complete the all-star cast.

Find out what we can expect from My Destiny mula mismo sa mga taong kasama sa teleseryeng ito.

Carla Abellana: "Lagi kasi silang [fans] bitin. Like sa My Husband's Lover, between Lally and Vincent, masakit, bittersweet. Though mag-asawa sila doon, maraming nabitin sa love story nila. Sa So It's You naman, sobrang daming kinilig. Sabi ko nga kay Tom, let's put the 'love' back in 'love team'. Dito kami babawi sa mga taong nabitin sa My Husband's Lover at So It's You."

Tom Rodriguez: "Kung nasanay sila kay Vincent who has so many secrets, a person who is really stiff, really burdened and heavy, this time Lucas is quite the opposite. Although he comes from a well-off family din like Vincent, wala siyang dinadalang ganung klase. He's just a regular person. He's a lot more charming, a lot more happy and energetic. He wants to make the most out of life."

Rhian Ramos: "'Yung pagkasulat kasi ng show na ito is different from the shows that I have done in the past. Ang pagkasulat kasi nito, napaka-specific. The writers really created people. When you read it, hindi siya characters eh, parang mga tao that you would bump into in your life and get to know."

Sid Lucero: "Romance, drama, maybe some action, depende. More than anything, through the show maybe we can explore the willingness to sacrifice when it comes to the people that we love and how far we are going to go, especially through the character of Carla."

Kuh Ledesma: "My Destiny is about love, forgiveness, healing. I believe that it's not just a good teleserye, but a perfect teleserye for our country kasi maraming issues ang mga family dito, especially in terms of adultery. All over the world naman, the issue of unforgiveness [sic] is very common.

Ayen Munji-Laurel: "The viewers can expect good scenes, of course working with Direk Joyce. It's going to touch their hearts because it is still a story about love and family. Kailangan natin ito from time to time. Kailangan natin to feel warm inside, and to be reminded kung ano 'yung importante sa buhay."

Dennis Roldan: "Deep ang relationship and love in the family, pero deep din ang conflict between the family at doon sa love niya. Talagang malalim ang presentation niya."

Ruru Madrid: "Dito talagang makikita 'yung tadhana.

Ashley Ortega: "'Of course, 'yung loyalty mo sa family, 'yung closeness niyo as a family, even ang loyalty sa friends. Pati kung how you forgive others, and of course maraming mangyayari sa story. Abangan nila kasi maraming twists."

Don't miss My Destiny, weeknights after Niño, on GMA Telebabad.
