EXCLUSIVE: 'My Guitar Princess' stars feel that a little competition is good for the show
The stars behind the latest Kapuso music-serye My Guitar Princess were extremely grateful for the warm support of the viewers during their pilot episode.

In their exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Kapuso actresses Jazz Ocampo and Marika Sasaki expressed their utmost gratitude for everyone who made their show the number one trending topic last Monday, May 7 on Twitter.
Jazz Ocampo plays one of the kikay kontrabidas of Celina (played by Julie Anne San Jose) named Katy, while Marika is Britney the bestfriend of Celina.
Jazz said, “Siyempre sobrang natuwa kami kasi tinanggap ng mga tao at tsaka they took a chance na panoorin ‘yung My Guitar Princess, sobrang tuwang-tuwa kami from the production, sa cast, sobrang nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng nanood, nag-tweet at tsaka sumusuporta.”
Marika added, “Kasi pilot pa lang namin sobrang ramdam namin ‘yung pagtangkilik ng mga tao, pagsubaybay, pagmamahal sa show namin.”
The two actresses also shared their thoughts on competing with their rival show in the other network.
For Jazz, she welcomes the idea of having a little competition. She thinks that a bit of pressure is good for the show.
She told GMANetwork.com, “For me it’s always good to be pressured, kasi siyempre may positive and may negative. ‘Yung positive when you worked under pressure you strive to give your best, to do your best always. And sa other side, puwede kang ma-rattle,”
“Pero nakikita ko sa My Guitar Princess, ano kami push kami, laban. Basta, ‘yung ginagawa namin mahal namin. You can compete pag ‘yung ginagawa n’yo is like galing sa puso,”
Marika Sasaki also stressed that My Guitar Princess offers something different from their rival soap.
“Actually, when it comes to the competitor, I really highly respect them… But I can say that I am very, very proud of my show, kasi it really has a different attack.”
She added, “It’s really a different dimension. We are offering a different thing, different harmony. Masaya kami, ginagawa namin ‘yung trabaho namin. Pinapaganda namin at hindi kami napre-pressure talaga."
