EXCLUSIVE: Lovi Poe on singing the 'Owe My Love' theme song 'With A Smile:' 'May konting kirot'

Lovi Poe highlights the parallelism of her Kapuso rom-com series, Owe My Love and its theme song, “With A Smile.”

Lovi stars in Owe My Love alongside Benjamin Alves.

Their highly anticipated rom-com series is making its worldwide premiere tonight, February 15, and the actress just added another reason for you to catch its episodes.

Aside from taking the lead role, Lovi is also the voice behind the program's theme song, an Eraserheads original that she revived for the show.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, she shared the significance of their chosen soundtrack.

Lovi said, “”With A Smile” kasi, isa 'yan sa mga paborito kong songs ng Eraserheads. So the fact na nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon to have my own version of it, talagang sobrang nagpapasalamat ako.”

The Kapuso actress also noted the message of the song that echoes the message of Owe My Love.

She continued, saying, “When I was recording, it just felt so perfect for Owe My Love at sa sitwasyon na pinagdadaanan natin ngayon.

"So hindi mo maiiwasan na may konting kirot na mararamdaman habang nagre-record ka ng “With A Smile.”

"Yeah, I think it's just a great reminder for everyone na kahit we're going through a tough situation now at things have been very challenging for us, lahat naman tayo, puwede nating idaan sa ngiti, and then, there's always a solution for everything.”
