What does it take to win Phytos Ramirez’s heart?

Phytos Ramirez is one of the many Kapuso heartthrobs that girls swoon over. The Paraiso Ko’y Ikaw star may be a bit of a bad boy on-screen, but off-screen, he is a true sweetheart. What kind of girl would this cutie go for?
We caught up with Phytos during the GMA Artist Center fan conference held in Max’s restaurant last January 30. The rising star candidly talked about girls and love.
What makes his head turn? He said, “Hindi kasi ako tumitingin sa physical. Ang gusto kong qualities, siguro ‘yung mga kayang maki-ride sa mga gusto ko. Ayoko rin ng mga ma-make-up na tao. Gusto ko ‘yung simple and natural lang talaga. Siyempre, dapat din tanggap siya ng family ko.”
So far, what is the sweetest thing that he has done for a girl?
Phytos shared, “Before noong nagkaroon ako ng girlfriend, nagpa-print ako ng tarpaulin tapos meron akong dalang chocolate na inarrange ko ng pa-heart shape. Tinawag ko siya sa klase niya, kinuntsaba ko ‘yung prof and then dinala ko siya sa gitna ng school.”
Admittedly a sweet guy, Phytos believes that the sweetest thing a guy can do to the girl he likes is to make an effort for her.
He explained, “Mag-effort ka talaga dapat para sa girl na gusto mo. Ako nga, hindi ko inexpect na magagawa ko ‘yung efforts na ginawa ko before. Just be yourself. Mas gusto ng babae iyon.”
He gave this piece of advice for all the guys who are keen on pursuing their dream girl: “’Pag may mga nanliligaw, may mga nagpapabida at nagpapalakas tapos ‘pag naging sila na, makikita mo na ‘yung tunay na ugali. From the first instance pa lang, ipakita mo na kung sino ka and then make an effort as simple as being a gentleman talaga.”
