'Pepito Manaloto' bags Hall of Fame recognition at the 39th Catholic Mass Media Awards

The award-winning Kapuso sitcom Pepito Manaloto bagged the Hall of Fame award at the recently concluded 39th Catholic Mass Media Awards held yesterday, October 25.

 

Present during the awards night were GMA Senior Program Manager Bang Arespacochaga and some of the Pepito Manaloto stars which include Manilyn Reynes, Nova Villa, Jessa Zaragoza, John Feir, Jake Vargas, and Angel Satsumi.

In an interview with GMA News reporter Cata Tibayan, veteran comedienne Nova Villa expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the show’s award and promised to continuously give televiewers a quality show every Saturday night.

She said, “Of course maraming-maraming salamat at ang Pepito Manaloto magpapatuloy pa po na kayo po ay bigyan namin ng kasiyahan at ng mga aral sa buhay. 'Yan po ang aming advocacy.”

Meanwhile, Kapuso comedy genius Michael V dedicates their Hall of Fame award to their loyal viewers. "Sa lahat ng mga nakapanood, laging nanonood at mga manonood pa lang ngayong Sabado, para sa inyong lahat ito. Lahat kami sa cast at sa production, hindi tumitigil hangga’t hindi namin nasisigurong mag-e-enjoy kayo sa bawat episode,” wrote the Kapuso star.

He added, “Hindi namin alam kung ilang taon pa magtatagal ang #PepitoManaloto pero hangga’t tinatangkilik n’yo kami, hindi kami magsasawang magbigay ng saya sa inyo. Maraming salamat, CMMA! Maraming salamat mga Kapuso!”

 

In other news, Kapuso viewers should expect a laugh-out-loud episode of Pepito Manaloto as its original cast member, Carmina Villarroel is set to return to the Kapuso sitcom soon!
