Pepito Manaloto Ang Unang Kuwento

Maraming-maraming salamat, mga Kapuso!

For the past 11 years, the multi-awarded Kapuso sitcom Pepito Manaloto has offered viewers with heartwarming stories, funny moments, and life lessons that kept us glued to our TV screens every Saturday night.

Despite the challenges of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, award-winning comedian Michael V. and the whole team of the flagship-comedy program have worked tirelessly to give our loyal Kapuso quality entertainment week by week.

And for 2021, Pepito Manaloto has once again reigned supreme as the undisputed and number one sitcom on Philippine TV based on the data of Nielsen Phils. TAM (Arianna) and Nielsen Phils. (AQX).

Adding another feather to its cap, the highly-acclaimed comedy show claimed the 16th spot in the top 30 programs of Nielsen Phils. TV Audience Measurement's Total Philippines data for full-year 2021 (from January 1 to December 31) registering 12.4 percent people ratings.

Last year, the show embarked on a new journey to raise the bar on weekend primetime, when the prequel Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kuwento aired on July 17, 2021.

After a tedious search, GMA-7 officially announced that multi-talented and Bubble Gang regular Sef Cadayona and Sparkle actress-singer Mikee Quintos bagged the title roles of young Pepito and Elsa.

In addition, they are joined by a notable set of artists led by Pokwang, Gladys Reyes, and Archie Alemania. Also, part of the star-studded cast are Kokoy de Santos, EA Guzman, Kristoffer Martin, Jay Arcilla, Angel Guardian, and Denise Barbacena.

Moreover, Pepito Manaloto didn't just lord over the TV ratings landscape in 2021, it was also recognized by award-giving bodies.

The sitcom bagged the Best Comedy Show trophy at the 34th PMPC Star Awards for Television, while Manilyn Reynes received the Best Comedy Actress nod.

Making 2022 a lot more exciting, Pepito Manaloto also opened January with another recognition, when it was hailed as the Most Outstanding Comedy Show at the 4th Gawad Lasallianeta.

Again to our loyal Kapuso, thank you for making Pepito Manaloto the number one sitcom on Philippine TV.
