John Clifford treasures the lessons he learned from seasoned comedienne Manilyn Reynes

Newbie Sparkle talent John Clifford had a blast taping for the award-winning sitcom Pepito Manaloto: Tuloy Ang Kuwento.

After being launched as part of the Sparkle Teens last month, John and James Graham were tapped to play Clarissa's (Angel Satsumi) schoolmates named Jacob and Edward, respectively.

In the latter part of the April 29 episode, it was already revealed that Jacob is the new crush of the unica hija of the millionaire couple Pepito (Michael V.) and Elsa (Manilyn Reynes).

In his exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com today (May 5), John talked about his experience shooting with the incredible cast of Pepito Manaloto.

He said, “Nung first po, kinabahan po talaga ako nung nakita ko 'yung cast sa personal kasi dati pinapanood ko lang sila sa TV and ngayon nakakasama ko na sila and I feel very grateful po talaga to be working with them, very welcoming po silang lahat.

“They made us feel po na kahit first time pa naming magkita, part na kami ng family nila.”

What was meeting and working with Michael V. and Manilyn Reynes like?

“Sa totoo lang po hindi pa rin nagsi-sink in na nakawork ko sina Sir Michael V. and Miss Manilyn Reyes, nung nakita ko po silang mag work sa set, sobrang galing po talaga nila.”

The Sparkle teen heartthrob also shared some advice given to him by his fellow kababayan Miss Manilyn, who grew up in Cebu.

“Sobrang saya po sa set kasi lagi po nagjo-joke sina Sir Michael V. and nagkausap po kami ni Ms. Manilyn ng Bisaya kasi Cebuano din po si Ms. Manilyn and sinabi n'ya po sa akin na higit sa lahat, mahalaga pong maging mabait and humble po sa lahat ng tao.” John said.
