Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay share details of upcoming mini-series 'Raya Sirena'

Fans of Sparkle Sweethearts Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay will have more reasons to smile as the loveteam is for their upcoming mini-series Raya Sirena.

Raya (Sofia Pablo) and Gavin (Allen Ansay) are back for more adventure and kilig moments that will spread love this summer season.

In their interview with Aubrey Carampel, Sofia shared her thoughts about the storyline of Raya Sirena.

She told Chika Minute, “Ngayon mas masaya na kasi it's a mini-series so mas marami na akong scenes na pagiging mermaid. And masasabi ko po na 'yung kuwento ni Raya Sirena this time is much more deeper.”

Since she portrays a mermaid in this project, the Sparkle teen star admitted that she had fun shooting her underwater scenes and didn't have a hard time at all.

“Di ba meron pong mga freestyle, backstroke. Pero among all, mermaid swimming po talaga ako pinakamagaling.” Sofia added.

Meanwhile, Kapuso heartthrob Allen Ansay also dropped hints on the back story of Raya, which Kapuso viewers will discover in this mini-series.

“Siyempre 'yung first episode kasi alam po natin na si Raya, sirena siya. Pero dito hindi lang pala siya sirena kundi may mas malalaman pa po 'yung mga tao na bakit siya naging sirena, sino 'yung family niya, ano bang dahilan ng lahat.”
