Versatile TV-movie actress Glaiza De Castro is all hyped up for the grand premiere of the much-awaited return of the high-rating reality show Running Man Philippines this weekend.
Glaiza a.k.a Boss G will take us in a thrilling adventure in South Korea as she and fellow Runners Mikael Daez, Miguel Tanfelix, Lexi Gonzales, Buboy Villar, Kokoy De Santos, and Angel Guardian compete in bigger and crazier missions and games.
Adding another layer to the challenges that they will be facing is the frigid winter temperature while shooting for more than 40 days in South Korea.
In the panel interview in the grand media conference held last May 4, Glaiza told the entertainment press that she is hoping that the show will remind viewers the fun times they had when they were kids.
The Sparkle actress explained, “Through watching Running Man, maramdaman din nila 'yung closeness na na-build namin and parang siguro sa akin, kapag pinapanood n'yo kami, sana din maramdaman nila na 'uy ang saya pala maglaro. Ang saya pala maging bata uli.'”
In addition, by following their adventures in Running Man Philippines Season 2, people will discover a different side of each Runner that they seldom show to the public.
“Ayun 'yung isa mga aspeto ng Running Man na ikaka-surprise nila and at the same time parang madi-discover nila 'yung individual strengths namin, 'yung individual characteristics namin na hindi namin naipapakita.”
She continued, “Dahil normally nakikita kami ng mga tao na umaarte kami or nagho-host nang pakonti-konti, pero dito makikita n'yo 'yung kabaliwan na side namin, 'yung medyo weird na side namin.”
