Lexi Gonzales got her break in show business after claiming the title of First Princess in the seventh season of StarStruck in 2019.
Fast-forward to today, the promising Sparkle actress landed the biggest project of her life when it was announced that she was one of the seven official cast members of the reality show Running Man Philippines.
And it seems like her trip to South Korea to shoot for the show made her realize that she absolutely loves her work as an artista.
In the media conference held last Saturday, August 27, Lexi shared to the entertainment press the biggest lesson she learned doing Running Man Philippines.
She noted, “Ako naman po ang natutunan ko 'yung importansya na mahal mo 'yung ginagawa mo.”
Lexi then went on to describe some of the challenges they faced while shooting in Korea. The Kapuso star recalled, “Kasi, sobrang hirap po talaga. At the same time na we're having fun, nag-e-enjoy in everything that we are doing, mahirap din po siya.
“It's non-stop, rain or shine, tuloy-tuloy po 'yung taping namin. Kasama namin 'yung mga boss namin na nababasa ng ulan, naiinitan. Lahat po kami sabay-sabay.
“So, kung hindi mo kasi mahal 'yung ginagawa mo, madali para sa'yo 'yung nagi-give in, madali para sa'yo na 'Ayoko na. Napapagod na ako.' But all of us, we love what we're doing. Kaya doon ka na-realize, 'ah lahat kami mahal namin ginagawa namin.'”
Watch the bubbly girl Lexi Gonzales as she competes in some of the most outrageous missions in Running Man Philippines beginning September 3.
Shot entirely in South Korea, the reality show is the first co-production between SBS (Seoul Broadcasting System) and GMA Network, and airs on weekend evening primetime: Saturdays, at 7:15 pm and Sundays at 7:50 pm.
