'Philippines is our second home' - Los Viajeros

Last Saturday on Sarap Diva, Regine Velasquez had three handsome visitors that served as a pasalubong from Inday. She jested that she went to the mountains where she met the three handsome men Diego Biancatti, Pedro Fernandez, Eduardo Lara, collectively known as Los Viajeros.

Regine cooked pork stew with beans and sausage, which is one of the more common dishes in Brazil, Los Viajeros' home, before they landed in the Philippine’s longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.

According to Pedro, “For me the Philippines is the place in Asia that is close to Brazil. The weather, the culture, everything is so close to our country. It feels like it is our second home”.

Meanwhile, Diego shared how they got the job in Eat Bulaga.

“We came here first for modeling. We were traveling in Asia for a while then our scouts sent us [to the Philippines] to model,” he said.

While cooking, the three told Regine about their life before Eat Bulaga. They mentioned that before coming to the Philippines, they had different jobs in Brazil.

Eduardo shared, “I worked in law for two years in Brazil and after that I decided to travel”.

While Pedro added, “back in Brazil I was a personal trainer (in a gym), and I'm a fighter, skateboarder, and a video maker.”

“Before, I used to play volleyball professionally. I used to travel a lot in Brazil playing for my city,” Diego volunteered.

Since the handsome trio will be staying in our country, they shared what they will do to improve their craft as artists. Diego added that once they can speak Tagalog fluently, it will be easier for them to pursue acting.

Eduardo discussed that he’d love to show the beauty of the Philippines.

“We'd like to show the places here in the Philippines, it's really a beautiful country. We can show Boracay, Palawan, places like that”.

Regine asked the Los Viajeros if they have a special girl in their life and they all  answered, “wala”. According to Diego, they are looking for someone who can be with them all the time and support them on their career.
