Kyline Alcantara turned a year older as she celebrated her 22nd birthday on Tuesday, September 3.

The Sparkle star received a lot of love from her celebrity friends and loved ones on her special day, including her Shining Inheritance co-stars Kate Valdez and Charlize Ruth Reyes, more popularly known as Charuth.

In an Instagram story post, Kate shared a photo of her and Kyline with the caption, "Happiest Birthday @itskylinealcantara. Stay happy hehe love u!"

Charuth also uploaded a snap of her with the Sparkle actress and greeted her a happy birthday.

Kyline is currently in New York City for her birthday trip.

In a previous “Chika Minute” report, the Sparkle star shared that she will be joined by her mother, Rowena, on her trip abroad for some mother-and-daughter bonding.

“'Yun naman po 'yung sinasabi ni mama, 'ayaw kong may birthday ka na wala ako doon.' At gusto ko ring pong makapag-bonding kay Mama doon kasi para po siyang mother-and-daughter vacation na rin,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kyline is set to star as Joanna De La Costa in the Philippine adaptation of the K-drama series Shining Inheritance, alongside Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, Michael Sager, and Ms. Coney Reyes.
