Klea Pineda on being part of StarStruck's Final 14: 'Bonus na sa 'kin ni Lord ito'

For Klea Pineda, being part of the Ultimate Final 14 of StarStruck is beyond any of her dreams.
“Kung iisipin, parang sobrang bonus na sa ‘kin ni Lord [‘to] eh. Ang plano ko lang po talaga nun, makita lang ako sa TV, [as in] madaanan [lang ng camera] 'Yun lang po talaga 'yung plano ko,” she opened up.
The 5’8” tall sixteen-year-old recalled how she once thought that it was impossible for her to be under the limelight. Show business used to be far-fetched for her as she admired actresses and models she would see on billboards and commercials.
“Hindi ko po alam kung ilan taon ako [noon]. Parang nasa sasakyan po ako. May nakita po akong mga billboard. Sabi ko, [sana] in the future, nandyan ako,” she added.
Now that she was shortlisted from the thousands of hopefuls who auditioned, she wants to serve as an inspiration to young people like her through the reminder that no dream is unreachable.
“Gusto ko tumatak sa kanila na walang imposible. Wala talagang imposible kasi [nag-audition ako dito] ng walang kaalam-alam sa showbiz. Gusto ko po na maisip nila na kapag meron kang determinasyon, talagang makukuha mo yung gusto mo,” she shared.
For Klea, being one of the youngest contestants in the group does not pose as a disadvantage. Her confidence and determination puts her in the same league as her fellow contestants who’ve had prior experience in show business.
“Para sa ‘kin po, [gagawin] ko lang talaga 'yung best ko. Kung 100 percent [ang] kailangan, [ang] ibibigay ko 110 o 120 percent… [Habang tumatagal], mas dumadagdag 'yung tiwala ko sa sarili ko na kaya kong makipagsabayan sa mga beterano [kong kasama],” she declared.
