"I really do encourage na you put yourself out there and explore different areas in your life and what you are willing to do for the industry. But if you're really uncomfortable with it, you've got to say no. Know your self-worth.

"Second, do not ever change yourself to fit the part better. There were so many times that I was being advised to be more careful with my words and to be a little bit friendlier just because I came off a bit suplado.

"In this industry, it comes down to uniqueness. If you become like everybody else, that how you are going to be seen -- like everybody else. Stick to who you are and you're honest with that, and make sure you're not hurting anyone's feelings.

"No matter what pace you are going at, if other people are getting successful faster than you are, remember that everybody starts this race differently. Everybody has a different starting point and to each his own journey."

We also asked Migo on how he has changed since he won, and he admits that he is an entirely different person now.

StarStruck: Migo Adecer is Ultimate Male Survivor

"The person who joined StarStruck would not listen to anybody's opinion. Not out of stubbornness, but I used to have a strong mind like I'm going to do what I know because I know that it succeeds. I'm not willing to try something new because I'm afraid of failure.

"But as time went by, and I think I was just young, every day I always learn something different and there are so many opportunities that this job can give to you. It comes down to how high your imagination can go. If you invest little, you are only going to gain a little. But if you invest big, you're going to reap what you sow."
