Less than a week since Marian Rivera gave birth to her firstborn Maria Letizia Gracia-Dantes, the Kapuso Primetime Queen granted a phone interview on her program Sunday PinaSaya.

Marian went into 18 hours of labor and gave birth via normal delivery on November 23. While the actress-host admitted that her experience was excruciating, she claimed nothing can compare to the joy brought by the coming of her baby.

“Alam mo ‘yung pakiramdam na hindi mo maipaliwanag, na pag tinititigan ko ‘yung anak ko parang ‘Wow, thank you Lord. Binigyan niyo ako ng napakasayang biyaya na walang kapantay talaga,” she told her co-hosts Aiai Delas Alas and Barbie Forteza.

“Kahit anong hirap pag nakita mo na siya talagang priceless talaga,” Marian added.

She also took the opportunity to address her fans and supporters who incessantly offered thoughts and prayers during her pregnancy and delivery.

“Gusto ko rin kunin ‘yung pagkakataon na magpasalamat sa lahat ng nagdasal para sa aming dalawa ng anak ko, na maging safe kaming dalawa. So thank you rin. Malaking tulong talaga na nakaya ko ang pagle-labor,” the Kapuso Primetime Queen said.

Her kambal Aiai Delas Alas remarked how Baby Maria Letizia took after the beauty of Marian. The Philippine Queen of Comedy also had words of encouragement and endearments for the new mom.

She told Marian, “Wish ko na sana ay i-enjoy mo ‘yang motherhood mo. Sana din ay makabalik ka na rito sa amin dahil na-miss ka na naming. Of course, i-enjoy mo si Baby Zia dahil ang sarap-sarap maging nanay ‘di ba. Pagpasok mo pa lang doon sa kwarto mo, tapos ang bango-bango. Amoy baby, amoy powder.”

Will we be seeing Marian return to Sunday PinaSaya soon?

She hinted, “Oo naman, babalik na si Judge M.D. Abangan nila ‘yan.”
