Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is so back! The 'Tadhana' host graced the program's media conference for its second anniversary.
After months of being on hiatus for her maternity leave, Marian Rivera is making her TV comeback through drama anthology 'Tadhana.'
During the media conference, Marian related what 'Tadhana' is all about. “Kaya namin ginawa itong programa na ito para magbigay pugay sa mga kababayan nating ginagawa ang lahat para sa pamilya nila, para sa kanila itong show na ito.”
For Marian, OFWs are modern-day heroes who sacrifice family time to work abroad. She said, “Isa silang bayani ng bawat isang pamilya na iniiwan kung anong mayroon sila dito para makapunta ng ibang bansa.”
Marian Rivera greeted her friends from the press during Tadhana's second anniversary media conference.
Marian described 'Tadhana' as a show that's very close to her heart because it tackles life stories of OFWs.
Kapuso girl group XOXO performed 'Tadhana's' theme song “Kumapit Ka Lang.”
Danielle Orzaraga, Melbelline Caluag, Lyra Micolob, and Muriel Lomadilla are former 'The Clash' contenders and are now the faces of GMA's newest girlgroup.
While she was on hiatus, Marian was temporarily replaced by her husband, Dingdong Dantes, as host.
Marian revealed that she wasn't expecting she'd be hosting the show for this long, and she's grateful 'Tadhana' welcomed her back warmly after her maternity leave.
'Tadhana' will be having a two-part special for its second anniversary celebration, to start airing from September 7.
Marian's biggest joys right now are her children, Zia and Ziggy.
Though Marian advocates breastfeeding for infants, she respects whatever choices other mothers make for their children. She said, “Kaniya-kaniya tayo [ng choices]. Irespeto natin ang isa't isa.”
She also teased a DongYan comeback for 'Tadhana.' “Promise ko 'yun sa 'Tadhana', babalik at babalik kaming dalawa ni Dong together, kung di man siya ang magdi-direct, eh kaming dalawa ang gaganap."
'Tadhana's' two-part special features episodes “Serial Killer” and “CEO Maid,” stories that are filled with drama, murder, and hope.
Marian related that 'Tadhana' will also feature lighter inspirational stories following the two-part special.
She also announced that she'll be making a comeback for Sunday PinaSaya this October.
Welcome back to 'Tadhana', Marian!
