Aiko Melendez and Maricar de Mesa mend broken friendship after 'Tadhana' episode

Prima Donnas star Aiko Melendez and Legal Wives actress Maricar de Mesa have rekindled their friendship after "years of silence."

The two actresses shared their recent taping for weekly drama anthology show Tadhana served as a way to reconnect.

Maricar posted a photo of her and Aiko dressed in gowns in a taping location and wrote in her caption, "After years of silence, @tadhanagma brought our friendship back. #ingodsperfecttime @aikomelendez"

Similarly, Aiko also posted some behind-the-scenes photos of the taping.

She captioned a post, "Part of not being depressed is keeping myself busy... It was by fate “Tadhana” that led me to work with @msmaricardemesa who is a long time family friend.

"Maraming Salamat po to my Kapuso Network and @tadhanagma for guesting me. First time to guest in this show and napasabak kami sa matinding drama. Ang ganda ng kwento pa. Mapapanuod nyo po ito sa March 6 and 13 :) This is the show hosted by Marian Rivera sana next maka work ko na sya. Thank you Lord Jesus for the blessing . @alvtalents"

She also left a comment on Maricar's post saying, "Miss you mare, God's will and strong friendships will never ever be broken. I'm happy that we are ok and please know this time no more goodbye ah. We will be here for each other no matter what. Love you."

Showbiz friends also showed support for Aiko and Maricar's reunion.
