Internationally acclaimed actress Jaclyn Jose has given her stamp of approval to the brilliant performance of Kapuso drama star Andrea Torres in the soap The Better Woman.

Jaclyn plays the role of Erlinda, the mother of Andrea in the primetime series.

In her interview with the entertainment press during the grand media conference of The Better Woman, held at the Prime Hotel last June 27, Jaclyn lauded the huge improvement of Andrea in terms of her acting.

Meanwhile, Andrea was over the moon upon learning that she will be working for the third time with the Cannes Film Best actress.

They have worked before in The Millionaire's Wife and Alyas Robinhood and it's sequel.

Meanwhile, the dashing Kapuso hunk Derek Ramsay described working with Jaclyn Jose as an 'intense experience.'

Derek said, “Grabe she's intense! When I say intense kaya niya gawin 'yung minimal acting na intense pa rin.”

He added that it can be 'intimidating' acting alongside Jaclyn Jose, but he learned a lot by observing her in every scene.

“Big or small she treats it the same way. She attacks it the same way and she is also very vocal kung maganda 'yung ginawa mo o hindi.

“So ako I'm like a sponge. I just want to learn from her. We have quite a number of scenes already and I've already learned so much on how to tone down your acting a little bit but the intensity is still there.

“She is a brilliant actress and that's why she is an internationally awarded actress. She really deserves it,”
