Because of their impressive performances, The Clash hopefuls Sassa Dagdag and Lorraine Galvez have caught the attention of a Canadian music producer sound engineer, Abderrahmane Tebbal, who goes by the name of Ovela.

Ovela regularly uploads his reaction videos on mostly Filipino song performances on his YouTube channel, Music Game News.

He said nothing but good words about Sassa and Lorraine's recent performances on The Clash.

He was impressed how Sassa pulled off a risky Mariah Carey song, "My All," amid suffering from a fever.

"Very ballsy, I have to say,” the Montreal-based music producer said.

“But sometimes you have to take risks because the biggest the risk, the biggest the reward.

“This song is not easy to sing but I believe she did good.

“I'm not gonna say it's amazing because it wasn't amazing, it was good, it was solid.

“Honestly, you sing this song and you don't go off-pitch, I consider it good.”

On the other hand, Ovela liked Lorraine's over-all performance of "Orange Colored Sky" because of her great voice and attitude.

He said, "I like her a lot. She has a lot of confidence. She has a great voice and she knows how to control it.

“Honestly from A-Z, I did not hear flats, I did not hear pitch issues. I am very pleased.

“She looks super cute and she has attitude. She was moving around. She was kind of sassy and everything. Very good.

“Even her outfit fits the style of the song. I am impressed. This was really, really good."
