Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz

Clash Masters Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz can't wait for this year's Clashers to show their talents.

It's not just viewers who are anticipating the upcoming clash between The Clash 2023's Top 30 Clashers, it's also the show's hosts, Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz.

In an interview aired on 24 Oras, the pair couldn't hold back their excitement as they talked about the upcoming confrontation, especially considering the caliber of contestants who have passed the audition for the show.

“We're all excited tsaka we're looking forward kasi iba na 'yung mga kabataan ngayon, mas driven sila at mas persevering pagdating sa kanilang mga pangarap,” Julie Anne explained in the interview with Nelson Canlas.

Rayver, for his part, shared that it was a privilege to host the singing competition and that he and Julie Anne would often end up being fans of the contestants themselves.

The pair also shared their excitement for the production numbers they have prepared for the show, describing it as akin to “rehearsing for a JulieVerse concert every week.” The rehersals, the pair explained, have just deepened the bond between them.

“Nagiging routine na kahit fifth season na, tawang-tawa pa rin siya sa mga hinihirit ko,” Rayver shared.

Aside from Julie Anne and Ratver, also returning to The Clash 2023 this season are judges Comedy Concert Queen Aiai Delas Alas, Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista, and Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha.

The competition's previous winner, Mariane Osabel, is now a recording artist under GMA Music and a Sparkle talent, as well as a part of All-Out Sundays weekly “Queendom” segment alongside fellow The Clash winner Jessica Villarubin.
