Topper Fabregas is known as a theater actor, director, and fitness instructor. What made him say yes to playing the role of Alfredo Legazpi?
Topper Fabregas is one of the actors that viewers will be thrilled to see in the upcoming GMA Public Affairs romance-fantasy show, The Lost Recipe.
Before saying yes to the role of Alfredo Legazpi, he is known in the theater industry as an actor, director, and founding member of The Red Turnip Theater. Aside from his theater credentials, he also works as a fitness instructor.
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Topper shared why he accepted a TV role in The Lost Recipe.
He said, “I really told myself that I wanted to explore doing more stuff on film and TV and just open myself up to that. I told myself at the beginning of 2020 to take a step back from theater, and just explore different avenues.”

When the pandemic started, Topper became eager to see the direction of his career.
“I just wanted something different, and I didn't know what that was. The pandemic happened and I was like, okay. But the upside of that was I didn't lose any shows because I didn't plan on any shows. I just wanted to see where the world would take me .”
When the country started opening up in the new normal, he admitted that he received offers for different projects.
“When we started GCQ, I started to get offered stuff. I really told myself that I want to open up to different experiences. When they asked me to join The Lost Recipe, I really liked the concept, and I haven't really been in a serye before. I am just so flattered to be offered anything. I really said yes, instantly.”
Topper was thrilled when he found out that they will start taping soon for The Lost Recipe.
“I was super happy; super excited. I have never really been a part of a serye before so I've never been a part of something na continuous siya. I was so excited to play a character and to have that go on for a while.”
