Kapuso stars Mike Tan and Valerie Concepcion admitted that being a parent definitely changed how they view life in general.

In the virtual media conference of GMA Afternoon Prime's newest drama The Seed of Love, Mike, who already have two daughters with non-showbiz wife, admitted that he now thinks about his daughter's future instead of his own.

"Ang laki ng pinagbago. Of course, 'yung priority sa buhay, nagbago. Hindi na lang 'yung sarili 'yung iniisip mo. Every time na lumabas ka, may iba ka nang iniisip," he said.

"And, of course, you are not just providing for yourself. You are providing for your family, growing family. I have two daughters, and [sila] na 'yung iniisip ko.

"Iniisip mo na rin 'yung future nila, kung paano mo sila papalakihin, [ano] 'yung gusto mong values nila habang lumalaki sila. Iniisip ko rin ngayon kung saan sila i-e-enroll kasi magpapasukan na sa susunod.

"Marami kang iniisip, siyempre magtatabi ka na rin ng pang-tuition nila kasi malapit na pasukan. So, ang dami."

For Valerie, who welcomed her daughter Heather Fiona Galang when she was 16 years old, having a child pushed her to mature earlier than others.

"Malaki ang pinagbago ng buhay ko simula nang nagkaanak ako kasi 16 years old ako when I had my daughter. So, ano bang alam ko?" she said.

"Totoo pala 'yung sinasabi nilang maternal instinct na pagkanagkaroon ka na ng anak, lalabas talaga 'yung kahit hindi mo alam, 'yung natural na pagiging nanay.”

Valerie added, "Tapos, 'yung bigla kang magma-mature and magkakaroon ng direksyon 'yung buhay mo kasi parang, 'Ah, ito pala 'yung purpose ko sa buhay, 'yung mapalaki ko 'yung anak ko nang maayos, na kahit ako lang mag-isa, with the help of my parents, na dapat kayanin ko siyang mapalaki nang maayos.'

"Malaki, malaking-malaking pagbabago ang nangyari sa buhay ko simula nu'ng magkaroon ako ng anak."

The Seed of Love tells the story of Bobby (Mike Tan) and Eileen (Glaiza De Castro), a couple who got pregnant with the help of in-vitro fertilization. Way before they got together, Bobby was able to freeze his sperm in fear that he might get cancer, the disease that killed his mother.

What should have been a happy day for the couple, turned out to be the worst day in their relationship as Bobby's ex-girlfriend, Alexa (Valerie Concepcion), entered the picture and convinced him that he got her pregnant after a one-night stand.

The relationship between Bobby and Eileen completely fell apart when a heartbreaking tragedy happened, which led to Bobby leaving Eileen to be with Alexa and their son, Thirdy.

After many years of living with a broken heart, Eileen discovers a secret that will change her, Bobby's, and Alexa's life forever. She found out that the daughter she mourned many years ago was not her child.
