ITV Studios exec commends GMA Network for excellent production of 'The Voice Generations'

GMA Network, the country's leading broadcast network, proudly brings the first-ever The Voice Generations in Asia.

The Voice Generations is the newest spin-off of The Voice, the world's biggest singing competition established by ITV Studios. This new franchise debuted in Australia and is now in the Philippines via GMA Network.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, ITV Studios international executive producer Sven Kruithof commended GMA Network for launching The Voice Generations in the Philippines and throughout Asia.

“First of all, I just want to thank GMA Network for bringing The Voice Generations to Asia for the first time,” he said.

According to Sven, he was impressed by GMA's competence to produce an international show, particularly The Voice Generations.

“The Voice is a worldwide-known format with more than 150 franchises. The Voice is the most successful format brand in the global unscripted market. It's not the easiest format to produce and what I experienced here in a couple of days is that it's a great mixture of young, talented people and people who are super experts in rolling out such a big show like The Voice,” Sven shared in the interview.

“In addition to the original format, there are now six separate active spin-offs of the format: The Voice Kids, The Voice Teens, The Voice Senior, The Voice Rap, The Voice All Stars, and The Voice Generations,” Sven continued.

Sven is also positive that the Pinoy version of The Voice Generations will be a hit.

“It's a must-see, The Voice Generations here in the Philippines, it's amazing. I experienced the energetic vibe in the studio with all the hard work, and talent that has been carefully selected over the past few months and brought here on stage and I'm sure the viewers at home will also feel this positive energy and enjoy The Voice Generations, as much as we did in making it!” he added.

What makes The Voice Generations different from other The Voice franchises is that it features the voices of all ages and generations as a pair, trio, or group, rather than a solo performer.

Recently, GMA Network revealed the host and the four coaches of the said singing competition.

Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes adds another hosting role to his plate as he becomes the host of The Voice Generations.

The four award-winning Filipino music artists who will be seated as the coaches are international singer, dancer, and host Billy Crawford; multi-awarded and best-selling recording artist Julie Anne San Jose; lead singer and choreographer of the world's well-loved P-pop boy group SB19's Stell; and Filipino rockstar and lead singer of Parokya Ni Edgar Chito Miranda.

Don't miss The Voice Generations, every Sunday beginning August 27 on GMA Network.
