GMA Network's Pinoy version of The Voice Generations has been named the National Winner in the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format (Non-Scripted) category at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.
Created by ITV Studios, The Voice Generations is a spin-off of the globally renowned singing competition The Voice. This new franchise first premiered in Australia and made its Philippine debut on GMA Network in 2023.
The competition featured four award-winning Filipino music artists as coaches, including international singer, dancer, and host Billy Crawford; multi-awarded and best-selling recording artist Julie Anne San Jose; Stell, lead vocalist and choreographer of the globally beloved P-pop group SB19; and Filipino rockstar Chito Miranda, lead singer of Parokya Ni Edgar.
In addition, The Voice Generations host and Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes received the National Winner award for Best Entertainment Host in the same event.
The production team behind The Voice Generations is now also handling The Voice Kids on GMA Network with the award-winning director and star maker Johnny Manahan also known as Mr. M.
Adding more excitement to the show is the inclusion of Pablo, from SB19, as one of the new coaches.
The Voice Kids airs every Sunday at 7:00 PM on GMA.
