Sid Lucero marks his GMA return in 'The World Between Us'

Internationally-acclaimed actor Sid Lucero marked his returns in GMA Network as he portrays Eric Carlos in The World Between Us.

During the show's virtual media conference in June, Sid admitted that he missed working in GMA.

His last TV project in the network was in 2017 when he portrayed Dean Balbuena in the first season of Alyas Robin Hood.

"I do know how much I miss this so much," he said.

"I believe my character, he's the wedge. He comes in late and he is supposed to stir things up.

"Let's see how it goes, let's see how it goes."

One of Sid's co-stars in The World Between Us is his "aunt" Jaclyn Jose, the former partner of his late father Mark Gil.

Unsurprisingly, although Sid jokingly revealed that he did not want to have a scene with Jaclyn, she still called him the "best actor of this generation."

"When I was with his dad at that time, siyempre si Timmy laging nasa bahay and the rest of his siblings," Jaclyn looked back.

Sid's real name is Timothy Mark Eigenmann.

"Malikot na bata 'yan pero hindi ko iisipin na magiging artist siya.

"Hindi naman sa inaangat ko 'yung bangko ng mga Eigenmann but he is my best actor in this generation."

Sid has received multiple Best Actor awards, winning the plum at the prestigious Gawad Urian Awards, Thessaloniki Film Festival in Greece, and 19th Los Angeles Comedy Festival in the United States.
