Kapuso drama actor Rocco Nacino was pleasantly surprised to act together alongside best actresses under GMA Network in his brand-new Telebabad series To Have And To Hold.

During the grand media conference of the soap held this Tuesday afternoon (September 21), Rocco lauded his leading ladies Carla Abellana and Max Collins for their improvement in terms of acting.

He previously worked with Max in the afternoon serye The Good Daughter (2012), while Carla had the privilege to see the Kapuso actor in action via the primetime series Pamilya Roces (2018).

Rocco Nacino told 24 Oras his observation about his co-actors in the soap. “It was really nice to see how raw and vulnerable that she (Max Collins) became para dun sa character and it's nice to see that growth. Simply put, it was very raw. It was very authentic.”

He added, “And with Carla marami ako nakitang bago, sa mga ginawa niyang eksena. Marami scene na caught off guard ako.”

Meanwhile, Max admitted that she felt nervous doing To Have And To Hold, because she had to step up her game to deliver a good performance with Carla and Rocco around.

“Kinabahan ako because not only was it my first time working with Carla and I'm a fan of hers. The fact that I'd be working with Rocco and I know how great of an actor Rocco is, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to keep up with them, to be honest, but our chemistry was really really good and it's something that I'm proud of,” Max said.

“So, I think it's more of excitement as opposed to nervousness and it worked, because it made me stay on my toes. And it made me do better and push harder as an actress,” she added.

Primetime will be whole lot different with the gripping story and incredible drama performances of the stars of To Have And To Hold.
