“Talagang team effort ang Villa Quintana.” – Elmo Magalona

Elmo and Janine Magalona feel very privileged to be working with a star-studded cast. At this point in their career, they are able to work with experienced artists including Al Tantay, Paolo Contis, Maricar De Mesa, Raymart Santiago, Sunshine Dizon and the late Roy Alvarez.

The opportunity to pick on the brains of veterans helps Elmo and Janine execute their scenes masterfully.

“Marami kaming natututunan sa lahat ng ka-trabaho namin dun. 'Yung mga input din ng mga how they act, nakakatulong din sa amin and then nagagamit namin sa mga eksena naming dalawa,” Elmo shared.

For Janine, her closeness with Elmo greatly contributes to how effective they are able to portray Lynette and Isagani. Their chemistry, to her, was undeniable since the beginning.

“'Yung chemistry [talagang nabuo nung nagsimula kami mag-taping kasi mas nakilala namin 'yung isa’t-isa,” she shared.

Because of their common interests and the bond that they have established, shooting their scenes have become easier and more enjoyable.

“Nagkataon lang na magkasundo pala kami at nakatulong 'yun sa mga eksena kasi we’re close so hindi talaga nagka-ka-ilangan,” she added.

With two weeks left, the love team recognizes each cast and crew member who have made the remake a smash hit. Because they refuse to do work that is less than their best, they take pride in every scene that they shoot.

“Talagang team effort yung Villa Quintana. Gusto po namin maganda lahat ng eksena. Gusto namin consistent, so happy ako na sa lahat ng eksena, napakita namin 'yung [best],” Elmo declared.
