Dumalo ang Voltes V: Legacy director na si Mark Reyes at dalawa sa lead stars nito na sina Radson Flores at Matt Lozano sa opening night ng Japanese Film Festival Philippines 2024 na ginanap noong Huwebes, February 1, sa Shangri-La Red Carpet Cinema 4, Shangri-La Plaza sa Mandaluyong City. Kabilang sa official lineup ng film fest ang Voltes V: Legacy: The Cinematic Experience, ang isinapelikulang bersyon ng local adaptation ng classic '70s anime.

Spotted din sa nasabing event sina GMA Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Assistant Vice President for Drama Helen Rose S. Sese, at Voltes V: Legacy Executive Producer Darling Pulido-Torres.

Sa opening night ng Japanese Film Festival Philippines 2024, tinanggap nila ang pagkilala ng Japanese ambassador sa Pilipinas na si Kazuhiko Koshikawa sa GMA Network para sa kontribusyon nito sa pagsulong ng Japanese pop culture sa bansa, ayon sa Instagram post ni Direk Mark.

"The Ambassador of Japan extends his deepest regards to the GMA Network Inc. in recognition of their distinguished service in contributing to the promotion of Japanese Pop Culture in the Philippines, and the deepening of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and the Philippines," sulat ng direktor.
