Theme song ng 'Voltes V: Legacy,' dapat abangan!

Unang narinig ang battlecry ni Steve Armstrong na ni-record ni Miguel Tanfelix para sa Voltes V: Legacy sa omnibus plug ng mga bagong offering ng GMA Telebabad ngayong 2023.

Ang iconic na linyang "Let's Volt In" at ang pagsigaw ni Steve ng "Voltes V" ay very significant sa fight scenes ng Voltes V team na binubuo nina Steve Armstrong, Jamie Robinson, Mark Gordon, Robert Armstrong, at Little Jon Armstrong, kontra sa humanoid aliens na Boazanians.

Kung mapapansin sa mega trailer ng Voltes V: Legacy, ang ginamit na battlecry ay mula sa orihinal na bersyon ng '70s Japanese anime.

Sa panayam ng GMANetwork.com sa direktor nitong si Mark Reyes, paliwanag niya, "We want to give the mega trailer gravitas so we decided to put that in the mega trailer. But Miguel has recorded several versions that we have not finalized yet what to use.

"It's very hard to tap the Japanese battle cry because that's what your emotional triggers will create. That's why people feel nostalgic when they hear that because that is from their youth."

Samantala, isa rin sa mga inaabangan ang theme song na gagamitin para sa live-action adaptation series.

Ang opening song ng Voltes V ay pinamagatang "Voltes V no Uta" na inawit ni Mitsuko Horie. Ang ending song naman nito na "Chichi wo Motomete" ay kinanta ng late singer na si Ichiro Mizuki.

Tikom pa ang bibig ni Direk Mark tungkol dito pero pahiwatig niya, "Do we use the Japanese, do we use the Filipino version? Let's wait and see. To surprise you all what we're gonna do with the theme song, who's gonna sing it, who's gonna sing the final theme song, hintayin n'yo na lang 'yan. Lots of surprises in store pa."
