Kapamilya star Marlo Mortel visited his first home Walang Tulugan for its New Year special last Saturday.

Marlo shared that he’s currently a guest host in a morning show in ABS-CBN and attributes part of his skill to the GMA late night show.

“Aba syempre [marami akong natutunan dito sa Walang Tulugan]. Dito tayo nag-ho-host dati,” he said.

The leading man is happy to have been able to venture into acting, and admits that he also wants to pursue a solo singing career.

“In the future, gusto ko rin ma-achieve talaga 'yung unang pinunta ko sa showbiz talaga -- yung pagiging singer. So [I want to work towards being a] solo artist sa future,” he added.

Walang Tulugan co-host John Nite reminded the young star that the people who make up the program will always be supportive of Marlo’s endeavors.

“Kuya Germs is really proud of [you]… [We wish you] more successes. Kung ano pa ang gusto mong ma-achieve dito sa career mo, we’re always behind you… Do not hesitate to come back anytime because our doors and windows are open for you,” he said.
