Up-and-coming Kapuso beauty Faith Da Silva is set to portray another kontrabida role in GMA's upcoming primetime series Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday.
Faith will play the role of a spoiled brat named Agatha, who dislikes Ginalyn (Barbie Forteza) and Caitlyn's (Kate Valdez) sudden rise to fame.
At the media conference of Anak Ni Waray Vs. Anak Ni Biday, the young actress was asked about how she feels about portraying kontrabida roles on TV.
"Siyempre, mayroon akong pangarap na maging bida, sino ba namang ayaw maging bida, 'di ba?
"Pero kung ano 'yung binibigay na project sa'kin ng GMA, happy ako doon. Ngayon, puro kontrabida 'yung mga projects na binibigay sa'kin.
"I think napo-portray ko naman 'yung character na maayos. Marami namang natutuwa sa 'kin," said Faith.
Faith was previously seen as an effective kontrabida to Bianca Umali's character in Sahaya.
However, if given the chance, Faith dreams of portraying one of the most iconic telenovela characters on TV, MariMar.

According to her, "Ang dream role ko talaga in the future, MariMar, island girl, happy happy lang, light, pero palaban."
