Miguel Tanfelix has been in the industry since he was six.

As an actor, the Kapuso Ultimate Heartthrob, now turning 24, grew curious about how a soap opera is made and this fueled his dream to study filmmaking.

In a video posted by Kapuso PR Girl, Miguel discovered that his love for filmmaking deepens especially when he got to star in his current show, What We Could Be, a GMA primetime series co-produced by the award-winning film production company Quantum Films.

He said, "Na-discover ko na mahilig akong makipag-usap sa direktor, sa DOP, sa cameraman natin kasi ayaw ko lang makita 'yung set natin sa perspective ng aktor.”

"If gusto ko maging direktor in the future, kailangan ko ring makita 'yung mga perspective ng mga tao behind the camera and nag-e-enjoy ako na matuto from them,” he added. "Na-discover ko na mas lumalim 'yung love ko sa filmmaking and, in the near future, mag-aaral ako ng film."

As his What We Could Be co-star, Ysabel Ortega echoed Miguel's statement.

She shared, "Tototo 'yan. Kunwari 'pag nakikita kong biglang nawawala si Miguel, nakikita ko biglang katabi na n'ya si Direk Neil or si Direk Jeffrey, or nasa likod s'ya ng camera nagta-try siyang mag-focus ng mga lenses. Inaaral n'ya 'yung iba't ibang mga lenses na gamit."

What We Could Be airs weeknights, 8:50 p.m., after Lolong on GMA Telebabad.

It has replays on GTV from Monday to Thursday at 11:30 p.m., and on Friday at 11:00 p.m.

The rom-com series has also a livestreaming on GMA Network website, and on the official Facebook page and YouTube channel of GMA Network.

Episodic highlights of What We Could Be, on the other hand, will be available on GMANetwork.com or GMA Network app, and on the official social media pages of the network.
