Andrea Torres shows her wacky side in �?�¢??With A Smile�?�¢??

Coming from the melodramatic Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, Kapuso actress Andrea Torres gets ready to show a different side of herself as she portrays the role of Isay in the newest GMA morning series, With A Smile.
During the press conference of With A Smile, the Yahoo OMG! nominee for Breakthrough Actress of the Year shared how she felt about being given the chance to be part of a romantic comedy series. She stated, “Malapit talaga sa akin ‘yung soap. Ngayon palang masasabi ko ‘yun kasi siyempre, first time na ilalagay sa morning, at first time na light. Siguro mixed emotions [ang nararamdaman ko]…’yung na-eexcite ka, kinakabahan ka, na happy ka.”
The sultry actress was also asked whether there was any pressure on her part when it comes to the show’s ratings. She said, “Siyempre, ‘yun ang dinadasal natin, na mag-rate siya, magustuhan ng mga tao at sana maging warm ‘yung pag-welcome nila sa amin, ‘yung ganun.”
When asked what viewers should expect from her as Isay, Andrea replied, “…siguro ‘yung wacky side, ‘yung hindi poised na Andrea. Kasi siyempre sa SAINN (Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga), ‘yung Cecilia at Olga, iba eh, pero dito makikita niyo na game siya kahit nag-aayos ayos ng tubo at naglalaba siya, so ‘yun, excited ako.”
Andrea Torres has teamed up with Mikael Daez in Sana Ay Ikaw Na Nga, but this is her first time to work with Christian Bautista. According to her, “Sobrang okay kay Christian, kasi hindi na kailangang ipilit ‘yung kulit at closeness. Agad-agad, kampante na ako sa kanya kasi ‘nung una ko siyang makita, nagpakita na siya ng pagiging gentleman. Nice na siya kaagad sa akin.”
Andrea was also asked whether she preferred Aston (Christian Bautista) or Dean (Mikael Daez) for Isay. She said, “Wala pa nga eh. Nakakatawa kasi ang ganda ng eksena ni Christian, tapos biglang pagdating ni Mikael, ang ganda rin. Kanya-kanyang moment, at tama ‘yung sinabi nila na walang mas nakakaangat. Lahat naman kami pantay pantay ‘yung moments.”
When asked about her own love life, Andrea admitted that she is currently single, and taking things easy. She prefers to settle down when the right time comes.
“Basta ako, ang goal ko, mag-asawa ng mga 29 to 30. ‘Yung before ‘nun, gusto ko sana mabigyan ako ng award. Gusto ko makilala talaga bilang artista. Nandito ako para magkaroon ng mark. ‘Yung iba kasi past time lang [ang pag-aartista]. Ako, kung puwedeng mala Gloria Romero ako na hanggang pagtanda, mag-aartista pa rin ako,” stated Andrea.
