Dawn Zulueta, surprised at Michael V's sensitivity as an artist

Kapuso comedy genius, Michael V thinks that veteran movie actress Dawn Zulueta is the perfect fit for the lead actress in his family drama movie Family History.

This film which will be his first foray in directing is a joint project of GMA Pictures and Mic Test Entertainment, a company established by Michael V and his wife Carol Bunagan.
In a video uploaded by entertainment reporter Allan Diones, the multi-awarded comedian revealed why they ultimately chose Dawn Zulueta for Family History.
He explained, “Kasama siya dun sa mga top choices namin. From a lot of perspectives parang siya ‘yung tama talaga.
“Marketing wise, tapos role wise, unang-una, siya talaga ‘yung napi-picture namin sa script. And pangalawa, since wala pang nagagawang project na kami magkasama parang it’s a sort of a good marketing tool to get her involved.”
Meanwhile, Dawn was also impressed with how Michael V has been handling his job as a movie director for the first time. She said the Kapuso comedy genius really prepared for the project.
“Parang gamay na gamay niya, I guess kasi pinag-aralan mo nang mabuti pinaghandaan mo,” said Dawn.
She also lauded her co-actor for showcasing another side of him during the shoot of their emotional scenes in the movie.
“He’s so sensitive, grabe pagka-sensitive nito. Nagugulat na lang ako pag lingon umiiyak na.
“Nagulat at natuwa na he is so used to doing comedy, hindi ba, but he’s so much more than that. He’s really an artist. He’s an actor!”
