Kakai Bautista admits it only took one person for her to say yes to Family History.

The comedienne said she got excited at the thought of being able to work with Kapuso comedy genius Michael V., so she agreed to be part of this family drama movie.

“Noong in-offer ito na-excite ako kasi sino ba naman ang hindi papangarapin makatrabaho si Michael V.

“Henyo ‘yun, henyo si Kuya [Bitoy]. ‘Yun lang ‘yung rason ko.

“Kasi, parang noong sinabing may gagawin siya, bilang lodi ko siya panahon pa noong dating-dati, Kuya alam mo na.

“Sobrang intelehente ng type of comedy ni Kuya.”

Meanwhile, Kakai, who is popularly known as the Dental Diva, also promises moviegoers to expect a ‘different type’ of comedy when they watch Family History.

“Siyempre, ‘yung role ko ang hahanapin naman ng tao ‘yung pagiging komedyante ko.

“May mga sundot dito ng pagiging komedyante ko at siyempre, hindi lang ito ‘yung makikita nila dito, ibang klaseng type of comedy ito.”

As early as now, moviegoers are excited to see the first directorial project Michael V.

The three-time Asian TV Best Comedy Actor embarked on an ambitious project by producing the family drama movie Family History. This will be the first project of his production company Mic Test Entertainment in collaboration with GMA Pictures.

Family History boasts a stellar cast led by Michael V and his leading lady, Dawn Zulueta.

Also part of the movie are Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix, Ina Feleo, Nonie Buencamino, Paolo Contis, Nikki Co, Jemwell Ventinilla, Vince Gamad, and Kakai Bautista.

In addition, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and award-winning comedy actress Eugene Domingo will also play a special role in Family History.
