GMA Pictures' 'P77' leads Prime Video's Top 10 Movies

GMA Pictures has another digital hit on its hands as the psychological thriller P77, also known as Penthouse 77, officially claimed the #1 spot on Prime Video Philippines.
Following its January 8 release, the film, starring Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza, rapidly ascended the charts, dominating the Top 10 rankings after earning the second spot last January 12.
Currently holding the top spot just ahead of the action film Trap House, P77 has successfully outpaced a string of international films, including She Rides Shotgun, Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End, and A Working Man'.
The film tells the story of Luna, a dedicated sister who accepts a job as a cleaner in a penthouse to fund her brother's medical needs, only to uncover the unit's chilling and dark secrets.
This project serves as a powerful showcase for Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza, proving her versatility as she moves away from her usual lighthearted roles into much darker, more serious portrayals.
Joining her in this chart-topping thriller film is an impressive cast that includes Euwenn Mikaell, JC Alcantara, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, and veteran actresses Gina Pareño and Rosanna Roces.
Directed by Derick Cabrido and written by Enrico Santos, P77 is a psychological thriller based on a concept by Anj Atienza and Kristian Julao.
