GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF), GMA Network’s socio-civic arm, inked a partnership with Mariwasa Siam Ceramics, Inc., a premier ceramic tile producer in the Philippines and Asia, in support to GMAKF’s Rebuild Marawi Project.

Under the partnership which was signed on August 24, Mariwasa Siam is providing ceramic tiles for the schools that GMAKF is rebuilding and rehabilitating in the war-torn Marawi City.

Present during the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement were Mariwasa Siam President Phaskorn Buranawit and Vice President for Sales & Marketing Jakkrit Suwansilp, and GMAKF Institutional Marketing and Communications Supervisor Tracy Cruz, on behalf of GMAKF EVP & COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog.

Buranawit expressed his appreciation to GMAKF for continuously bringing help where it is needed the most. “We are very glad that GMA Kapuso Foundation allowed us to also become a part of this meaningful project to help Filipinos in need, especially the children in Marawi. We do hope that we can work again together in the future,” he added.

Under GMAKF’s Rebuild Marawi Project, a total of 10 (ten) classrooms are currently being rebuilt and rehabilitated at Pendolonan Elementary School and Camp Bagong Amai Pakpak Elementary School in Marawi City.
