For 30 years, GMA Kapuso Foundation's (GMAKF) Sagip Dugtong Buhay project has been giving hope and helping save lives through voluntary blood donation. As the program marks this milestone, it once again calls on compassionate individuals to join in its next bloodletting activity scheduled on Saturday, August 8, at Ever Commonwealth Mall in Quezon City.

A biannual health initiative of the GMAKF, Sagip Dugtong Buhay helps address the need for a safe and continuous blood supply, ensuring that patients facing medical emergencies, illnesses, and other critical conditions have a chance at recovery and healing. 

Beyond collecting blood donations, Sagip Dugtong Buhay has brought together individuals, organizations, and communities for the shared purpose of helping save lives. 

Sagip Dugtong Buhay, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and Ever Commonwealth Mall, is among the various humanitarian programs for Filipinos in need of the GMAKF. 

Interested individuals can take part in the Sagip Dugtong Buhay bloodletting activity from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Ever Commonwealth Mall in Quezon City.
