Rizal monument flooded with blue lights as tribute to frontliners

The Dr. Jose Rizal National Monument is lit with blue lights as a form of tribute to frontliners amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

A short music video has been posted on the Facebook page of the National Parks Development Committee.

The caption reads: Our national monument of Dr. Jose Rizal is lit up in blue as we stand in solidarity with our frontliners, our heroes. We thank you for your bravery and courage. Mabuhay kayo! #wehealasone

The project is spearheaded by the Department of Tourism - Philippines Department of Tourism - Metro Manila Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila. -- BAP, GMA News
