Gary V. and Ben&Ben collaborate on a 'Di Bale Na Lang' and 'Pagtingin' mashup

Gary V. and Ben&Ben came together at the recently concluded Awit Awards, and performed a mashup of "Di Bale Na Lang" and "Pagtingin" and the result really is nothing short of incredible.

The video opens with a shot of Ben&Ben dropping the first notes of "Di Bale Na Lang" and surprises most everyone by giving Gary V's old pop ditty their signature soft treatment.

The shot turns to Gary V., who sings the song in a similar gentle manner, ensuring listeners and fans of either act that what will come in the next four minutes is going to be absolutely delicious.

And as soon as Gary V. preps for the chorus of his song, the camera reverts back to Ben&Ben who begins singing the chorus of their song "Pagtingin." The number then swiftly segues to the friendly "Di Bale" chorus and it goes on in this harmonious, gentle manner until the end. What a joy.

Published in Gary V.'s YouTube channel, the elder musician said in the description part of his page that he "finally got to do something with the amazing and incredible Ben&Ben!"

"My first time to collaborate with them...and most certainly not my last," he added.

The collaboration was for Awit Awards, which was live streamed online for the first time, where Ben&Ben won three awards for the night: Best Performance by a Group, Favorite Album of the Year ("Limasawa Street"), and Favorite Song of the Year ("Pagtingin").

GMA artists Garrett Bolden and Kyryll were given recognition during the awarding ceremony.
