'The Lord of the Rings' cast to reunite in Josh Gad's online series

The Fellowship of the Ring has been reformed, thanks to Josh Gad.

The actor, who voiced Olaf from "Frozen," tapped "The Lord of the Rings" cast members for an epic online reunion.

On his YouTube channel, he shared a teaser of the get together, and they're all there: Elijah Wood (Frodo), Sean Astin (Samwise), Ian McKellen (Gandalf), Orlando Bloom (Legolas), Dominic Monaghan (Merry), and Billy Boyd (Pippin).

McKellen and Wood even went into character as Gandalf and Frodo, to their former co-stars' amazement.

The video, part of Gad's "Reunited Apart" specials, is set to premiere this Sunday, May 31, starting at 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM ET.

Gad has previously reunited the cast "The Goonies" and "Back to the Future."

"The Lord of the Rings" is a film trilogy based on the book series by J.R.R. Tolkien. The story is set in Middle Earth, where the Dark Lord Sauron seeks to find the One Ring, which found its way into the hands of hobbit Frodo.

Frodo and eight companions form the Fellowship of the Ring and make the journey to Mount Doom in Mordor to destroy the ring.
