Miss Universe Philippines adds 2 new titles for top queens

The Miss Universe Philippines pageant will award two new titles to its top candidates on coronation night.

The pageant organization announced on Wednesday that Miss Universe Philippines Tourism and Miss Universe Philippines Charity will be named in addition to the Miss Universe Philippines 2021.

They will not be competing in any international pageants, but the Miss Universe Philippines Tourism will takeover if the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 is unable fulfill her obligations.

"The promotion of tourism and involvement in charity are two pillars that the MUPH Organization champion. By having individual queens focused on these, we can further our cause," the organization said in a statement.

Joining the top three are Miss Universe Philippines first and second runners-up.

Last year, the organization revealed the official titles of the top 5 beauty queens after the coronation. These were Ambassador for Education, Ambassador for Arts and Culture, Ambassador for Health and Fitness, Ambassador for Tourism, and Ambassador for Gender Equality.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2021 coronation night will be on Thursday in Panglao, Bohol. It will be aired on GMA-7 on October 3.
