Paul Soriano says his camerawork will not 'disrespect' Marcos' message at SONA 2022

Paul Soriano, who has been tapped to direct President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s first State of the Nation Address (SONA), has vowed to keep things "traditional and simple."

In an interview with reporters at Batasang Pambansa Complex in Quezon City, the director and producer said the focus will remain on Marcos' message.

"The star of today is really his message for the Filipino people. So my camerawork will not disrespect that," he said.

He added that he incorporated two new angles that would show a "different perspective of the SONA."

“That’s something I’m excited to show the country later," he said.
