Kris Bernal mulls starting wedding plans amid pandemic

After having her plans halted by the coronavirus pandemic, it looks like Kris Bernal is slowly getting back on track.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress shared that she and fiance Perry Choi are "almost done with the overall design and planning on the construction" of their dream house.

"Shall we move forward and discuss our wedding plans? The next question is how to get married during the corona pandemic?" she said in her post.

Back in September, Kris said that he and Perry had tentatively set their wedding to May 2021, but admitted that there has been "zero planning."

"Hindi namin inaasikaso, di mo sure kung kailan eh. Hindi rin tayo sure kung matutuloy sa May 2021 eh," she said.

She added it was the delayed construction of their dream house that really put a wrench in their plans because they wanted to move into it once they were married.

The couple got engaged on February 6. Kris planned to surprise Perry with a party on his birthday, but he surprised her with a proposal instead. —JCB, GMA News
