Ara Mina is engaged!

The actress shared the happy news on Instagram, where she posted photos of Dave Almarinez's proposal to her.

"Today I have received the most perfect gift from God," she wrote in the caption. "A prayer I have always been sincerely trusting Him to bring into my life."

Ara thanked her fiance for being her "answered prayer" and for "not giving up" on her.

"You are the reason why we have stronger days together. God led us to each other for a greater purpose. Let us both live it with faith and love. Yes, I will marry you!" she said.

She also shared that she was "totally clueless" as to where the day was headed.

Based on the Instagram posts of Nice Print Photography, the proposal was held in Laguna.

Dave proposed on a terrace surrounded by flowers, overlooking a sign that read "Will you marry me?"

The photos show that Ara was moved to tears during the special moment.

"Your surprise made me felt more loved and cherished than I did yesterday," Ara said.

Dave is the president and CEO of the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC).

Ara has a daughter with ex-boyfriend Patrick Meneses. —JCB, GMA News
