Doug and Chesca Kramer mark son Gavin's 8th birthday with emotional messages

The youngest of the Kramer kids, Gavin, just turned eight!

Naturally, parents Doug and Chesca Kramer couldn't help be become sentimental as they greeted their son a happy birthday.

Doug said he could still remember the first time he held Gavin, "so soft and fluffy like a marshmallow."

"And now you're becoming a little young boy who loves to explore, play all sorts of games, and loves to play extra rough on his sisters!" he said.

He praised Gavin for being "compassionate and sweet" and said he loved most the "hugs and kisses you always give ma and mama."

"To the one who'll carry on our last name... Gavin, I love you more than words can explain. My son, my partner in playing and seeking adventures! Happy happy 8th birthday baby boy!" he added.

Chesca shared a video compilation of Gavin's old photos on her Instagram.

"You know how much I love you because, Mama never gets tired of telling, and showing you just how much I do!" she wrote.

"I hope you stay the way you're, you're so easy to please... Being together is already more than enough for you.  We all love you so much, @gavinkramer! You're God's very special gift to all of us! Happy birthday, my son!" she added.
