Can you imagine the taste of juicy spare ribs with the sweet and salty goodness of pork hamonado?

Love Anover just shared an easy recipe for this on "Unang Hirit," perfect for those who want to to treat the folks (or yourself) at home with a special home-cooked meal.

To make Love's spare rib hamonado, you'll only need the following:

  • Spare ribs
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Beef broth
  • Onion

  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar

  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Start by sauteing your onions and garlic in a large pan.

Once the onions and garlic soften up, add your spare ribs. Make sure to mix it so all the flavors of the onions and the garlic stick to the pork cuts.

When the meat is no longer pink, mix in some salt, pepper, brown sugar and soy sauce.

Next, you add your pineapple chunks. Make sure you add just enough brown sugar because the pineapple is already sweet.

Finally, add some beef broth and boil it until all the favors seep into the pork.

Spare ribs are some of the tastiest cuts of pork, and cooking them with hamonado sauce like this makes them awesome rice toppings.
