Here's how Kara David keeps positive, amid the doom and gloom of the pandemic

In a #RealTalk interview with GMA Public Affairs, Kara David shared how she always tries to see the bright side of things amid the pandemic.

According to the GMA journalist, the pandemic has forced her to look at the most important thing in life.

"'Yung mga bagay that matters most, family, your close friends, 'yung pagbabayanihan natin, pagtutulungan natin at tsaka resilience," she said.

Kailangan mag-share ka rin at tumulong ka din kasi you're just part of a bigger community," she added.

Kara said she shuts off negativity by using her "deadmatology" mantra.

She reminded the younger generation that social media is technology and that it "shouldn't define your life."

"Maraming ibang bagay na nagde-define sa ating buhay at hindi yun yung timeline mo o yung social media feed mo," she said.

To lessen your stress, Kara recommends identifying how you get triggered.

"Try to give yourself a break.

Kara said amid the pandemic she goes by the mantra, "In everything in life, ang lagi ko lang sinasabi: Sa kabila ng lahat, marami pa ring bagay na dapat ipagpasalmat."

She said belief in one's strength will also get them through these unprecedented times.

"Kailangan nating paniwalaan yung katatagan natin. Yung sarili nating tatag sa panahon ngayon wala kang ibang aasahan kundi sarili mo, pamilya mo, so pakatatag lang." — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
