Geneva Cruz receives first dose of COVID-19 vaccine

Geneva Cruz joined the list of celebrities who got vaccinated against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

On Instagram, Thursday, the singer and actress shared a video of her getting inoculated with the vaccine.

She was visibly anxious about the jab, taking a deep breath and blinking rapidly as she steeled herself.

"Oh my god," she was heard saying, closing her eyes tightly when the nurse injected her arm.

It was over a few seconds later, and Geneva pressed a piece of cotton on the area. She said it was her first dose of the Sinovac vaccine.

"I encourage all of you to get vaccinated despite of [sic] being afraid of being jabbed in the arm by a tiny needle," she wrote on Instagram.

She also thanked the nurse for being patient with her.
